I'd like to sell my items at your store. Do I qualify to submit work for consideration?

Our name is Philadelphia Independents because we only sell handmade goods by independent Philadelphia artists. Your work must have been made by you and you must live/work in either Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware or Montgomery county. We don't accept artists who are already selling goods at other retailers in the Old City neighborhood of Philadelphia.

Okay, I passed that test. How do I go about submitting work for consideration?

We are always looking for new artists to carry in our store! Just make sure you fit the criteria above before you apply. The easiest way for us to see your handmade products is to send us an email to hello@philadelphiaindependents.com. Please include a link to your website, Etsy page, or send up to 10 images representative of what you would like to sell. Also include your retail prices. All three owners review the work together so no walk-ins, please. Unfortunately, we cannot accept everyone due to the extreme amount of talent in the City of Brotherly Love, but we'll let you know either way. 

I'd like to buy something I saw in your store, but I don't see it online. Can I still buy it?

Of course! Just give us a call or email and we can ship it out to you or have it ready for pick up right away! Due the nature of our store, a lot of times the items we carry are one-of-a-kind or we don't have enough inventory to post on our online store. But if we have one available, it's all yours!
